Make a Difference in Your Community - B us Driver Opportunity at Kelly Hall YMCA!
You'll transport children and / or adults for various programs and trips for the YMCA. Provides supervision and direction to children and / or adults.
Salary range starts at $17.50 per hour, Monday-Friday schedule.
Scope of Responsibilities :
- Transport children / adults to and from program activities and site(s).
- Makes daily safety inspection of bus / van.
- Reports to supervisor any conditions on bus / van which needs attention or correction.
- Oversees conduct of children / adults on bus / van.
- Follows all driver guidelines and standards.
- Follows YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention and emergencies.
- May supervise a group of program participants.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- CDL highly desirable.
Child Abuse Prevention - Supports the commitment of the YMCA to child abuse prevention by :
- Report any items that may provide a health or safety hazard to staff, members or guests to your supervisor.
- Follow all policies and procedures related to keeping children safe in our facilities and programs, including those related to the monitoring and supervision of children.
- Report any suspicious behavior and violation of policy and procedures to your supervisor.
- Complete all child abuse prevention training as required.
