Education / Certification :
Ability to read, write and communicate in English
Must be able to follow oral and written instructions in English
Ability to accurately count, weigh and measure
Ability to follow instructions and take initiative in performance of assigned tasks
Physical ability to walk, stoops, stand, twist and squat on a constant basis
Food Handlers Certification
Required to have a minimum of 6 hours of continuing professional education development annually
Special Knowledge / Skills :
Must have the capacity to grasp and adjust to new and changing situations
Manual dexterity and ability to work under pressure and desirable
Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally; 25 pounds frequently and 10 pounds constantly
Environmental Requirements :
Must work in a hot, humid environment
Must work in a cold or below zero environments for short periods Description Primary Purpose :
Works as a team member in the daily production requirements. Prepares vegetables, salads, gravies, meats, and baked goods according to standardized recipes.
Assures freshness, proper serving temperature, and minimization of food waste. Works in maintaining standards of food safety and sanitation.
