Duties :
- Represent financial institutions in real estate and asset-based lending transactions, focusing on loan origination.
- Advise developers on the purchase, sale, and financing of real estate and other collateral.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to lending transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive legal services tailored to client needs.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and client service.
Requirements :
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in real estate and asset-based lending.
- Proven track record of representing financial institutions and developers in complex transactions.
- Must be a member of the New York State Bar.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to solve problems creatively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex legal concepts.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and effectively manage competing priorities.
Education :
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications :
Admission to the New York State Bar is required.
