Duties :

  • Represent financial institutions in real estate and asset-based lending transactions, focusing on loan origination.
  • Advise developers on the purchase, sale, and financing of real estate and other collateral.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to lending transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive legal services tailored to client needs.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and client service.

Requirements :

  • 4-5 years of relevant experience in real estate and asset-based lending.
  • Proven track record of representing financial institutions and developers in complex transactions.
  • Must be a member of the New York State Bar.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to solve problems creatively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex legal concepts.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and effectively manage competing priorities.

Education :

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications :

Admission to the New York State Bar is required.

  • Proficient in legal research and analysis.
  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
