POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for the sales activity for assigned Region(s) Treasury Services, including the responsibility for new deposits and primary relationships, the development of sales plan and tracking, and the servicing of existing clients.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS :
- Calls on prospective or existing clients to develop new business, expands existing business relationships, maintains good client relations, and ensures proper servicing of accounts.
- Prepares Treasury Services proposals and makes recommendations to assist business clients meet their needs.
- Performs Relationship Reviews and follows up with existing clients to cross-sell additional services.
- Prepares Treasury Services documents and reviews documents with clients.
- Opens new client accounts and oversees new account / product on-boarding.
- Tracks Treasury Services referrals and sales results for assigned Region(s).
- Develops a marketing strategy for Regional Treasury Services programs, monitoring its success, and coordinating the Treasury Services call program with other employees in assigned Region(s).
- Provides educational meetings with both the Retail and Business Banking Regional staff on new and existing Treasury Services.
- Meets with Relationship Managers and Business Bankers to review and put together cross-selling action plans based on prospect and existing client lists.
- Participates in Business Banking and Small Business Banking blitzes.
- Works with Treasury Services Product and Support Managers to resolve Regional customer issues, conversion, and audits as needed.
- Maintains an awareness of trends and new developments in the field of Treasury Services.
- Must have valid driver's license.
- Completes all compliance training related to the position.
- Understands all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and complies with the requirements.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Performs all other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
- Three (3) to five (5) years Banking and Treasury Services experience required.
- Proactive sales skills with ability to prospect new client relationships.
- High degree of self motivation and ability to work autonomously.
- Strong client relationship management and customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels internally and externally.
- Ability to maintain effective relationships with internal service partners and customers in order to gain their trust and respect.
- Customer service oriented.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good PC skills proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel essential.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Ability to travel to off-site locations for meetings, projects, seminars, etc., as well as ability to travel overnight.
