You will :

• Document of the Technology risk following model risk management guideline and assist in the model certification process with the Model Risk Management and Technology controls teams
• Develop ongoing governance plans for the given models to fulfill model risk management guideline.
• Develop and maintain reporting on the status of technology controls operating across a portfolio of models
• Work with vendor management teams and Technology owners to understand a model’s methodology and outputs.
• Close liaison with second line of defense teams to ensure effective oversight and reporting.
• Address questions raised during the model governance process. Work with system owners, vendors and Model Risk Management to manage the model lifecycle.
• Establish reporting and present to governance and oversight committees as needed. #LI-FT1

Qualifications

You have :

• Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science or other quantitative fields. Advanced degree (e.g., MS) preferred.
• Experience of operating technology governance processes in a heavily regulated financial services organization.
• Keen interest in models, machine learning and AI, with an understanding of statistical modeling and quantitative analysis.
• Excellent technical writing skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate efficiently with key stakeholders
• Detail oriented with good organizational skills
• Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint. Programming skills is a plus.
• Superior analytical thinking and problem solving abilities.
• Leadership potential with strong relationship building skills
• Self-starter, self-motivator and team player who brings a "can-do" approach

Team Profile :

The Cyber, Data, Risk and Resilience (CDRR) division provides first-line defences for information and cyber security, fraud, resilience, response and recovery, and technology risk and controls.

The organization also includes Morgan Stanley’s Firmwide Data Office, International Technology offices, and the Non-Financial Risk Technology organization.

Technology Risk Governance and Controls (TRGC) serves as a key function of the Firm’s Cyber Data Risk and Resilience (CDRR) Division, responsible for ensuring that the Firm’s Technology, Information Security and Cyber controls and risk management practices meet regulatory expectations and industry best practices.BPTECH
