What You Will Do :
This position is primarily accountable for the continued development and implementation of sound financial management for Data ( $18M in annual spend), Security ( $3M annual spend), and Infrastructure IT ( $24M annual spend) in the US and the Americas Zone.
Overall responsible for $45M i.e. 26% of total external spend. Advocate for the value of IT, manage and analyze IT expenses (Opex, Capex, and headcount resources) relative to budgets / trends, effectively communicate risks / opportunities, and understand the impact of allocation to countries and divisions / brands.
Serve as the primary contacts with Data, Security, and Infrastructure IT Budget Owners, country CIOs, L’Oréal Brands, Division, Corporate Finance personnel & Group CPOs concerning all Data, Infrastructure, and Security IT financial activity.
POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
360 Management of the Data, Infrastructure and Security IT Pillar for the US and Americas Zone expenses including OPEX Cost Control and Capital Expenditures.
Prepare country and division / brand level allocation of Data, infra and security IT expenses in coordination with global teams and IT leads.
Create / update Data, Infra and Security IT pillar presentations (Budget / Trend / Strategic Planning) to share with CFOs, CIOs, Domain Leaders, and other senior management.
Present the Data, infra, and security IT Budget to the country leads for the Americas Zone.
- Active participant in the month-end, semester and year-end close (P&L and Balance Sheet review), ensuring Data, infra, and security IT’s financial objectives are met and financial statements are recorded accurately.
- Monitor actual spending activities, analyze and report the financial performance to executive management to explain monthly cost variances (including allocation variances) and areas of risk and opportunities.
Partner with Data, security, and infra IT clients to drive solutions to budget issues, assisting with resource prioritization to ensure that overall financial commitments are met.
- Development of metrics / dashboards that enable Data, security and infra IT Leaders to clearly measure IT effectiveness, budgetary trends, and financial project status.
- Work with zone BRM’s, IT Budget Owners, and SPO team to prepare Capital project requests and ensure expenses are correctly captured and budgeted.
- Build and maintain business case scenarios and look back analysis for Data, infra, and security projects, holding project managers accountable for updating PPM tools.
Work closely with project managers on achieving expected ROI.
- Support Group Beauty Tech transformation initiatives and focus on continuous improvement and process simplification.
- Financial support to Data, infra, and security IT ad hoc projects.
What We Are Looking For :
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor Degree in Finance / Accounting required, MBA a plus
- 6-9 years of experience in the Finance / Accounting area, with solid background in business planning and financial analysis
