JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for managing projects to drive organizational changes within departments and lines of business at the Bank. Proven analytical thinking, consultation skills, presentation skills, attention to detail, a strong drive to get things done, and exceptional organizational skills are musts in this role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage all phases of assigned Bank projects (i.e., initiating, planning, executing, monitoring / controlling, and closing), setting clear milestones and deliverables and keeping stakeholders informed of project status.
- Use project management software to create project plans, build dashboards and manage tasks.
- Convene and manage project teams with members from related groups, facilitating excellent communication without resorting to bureaucracy.
Provide coaching to employees to improve gathering of requirements and scope development.
- Responsible for documenting risks and aiding in the resolution of all issues impacting project progression.
- Produce project status reporting, success metrics, and related documentation to be shared with the project management leadership, executive sponsors, and project owners.
- Become conversant in all significant activities at the Bank, which includes developing a deep understanding of our business lines, key systems and applications, and personnel.
- Use deep knowledge of the relationships between Bank employees, departments, customers, vendors, regulators, and others to facilitate effective change.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES :
- Solid history managing multiple projects including associated tasks and deliverables simultaneously.
- Proven ability to lead project teams with strength in communication.
- Ability to collaborate across all levels of an organization with strong change management and problem resolution skills.
- Successful experience working through barriers and delivering results.
- Demonstrated aptitude for high quality standards and low tolerance for poor performance.
- Ability to use data and metrics to guide decision-making and identify requirements.
- History of using project management technology.
CREDENTIALS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
- College degree preferred. May be substituted with at least 5 years of related experience or the equivalent combination of education training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
- Experience in banking or consumer finance is preferred.

- Cubicle or home office with minimal exposure to distractions or environmental hazards
- Some long hours may be required based on business needs.
