The pay range is $144,400.00 - $259,900.00

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications.

Product teams have one shared backlog that is inclusive of all products , technology, and design work.

As a Product Director of Inspire & Motivate domain for target.com, you will enable Guests to browse the breadth of the assortment Target carries across distinct categories across various sections of the site e.

g., Home Page, Category pages & Site Navigation. You will lead product teams which are responsible in drivin g inspiration for our Guests , helping them d iscover various items of interest and foster i deas of shopping through immersive category experiences and social commerce.

You will set the overall strategic vision for your product space and product team, are accountable for succeeding against identified business outcomes and metrics, will set, and manage the product’s budget and financials, set the short- and long-term product goals, and quarterly Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).

You will be accountable for building, coaching, and mentoring a strong team of product owners while also building a strong team culture of progress, transparency, and efficiency across Product teams .

You will be responsible to elevate your collective team’s performance by providing insightful, motivating, and constructive feedback to all roles on the team while also working with senior leadership and peers across pyramids to negotiate and remove execution related barriers for your teams.

You will drive product discovery with key stakeholders to validate hypotheses and concepts with customers before committing engineering time, as you lead highly complex work across multiple pyramids, with interrelated specialties .

You will leverage data and analytics to provide competitive analysis, drive decision making, assess the health and effectiveness of your products and related P&L impacts, and to deliver recommendations to key stakeholders.

It will be critical that you possess an understanding of retail or similar areas, relevant technologies and design principles in order to drive innovative and scalable solutions across multiple pyramids within Target.

About you :

Four-year degree or equivalent experience

10 + years of overall experience with a minimum of 6 years in B2C Product Management frontend user experience preferably leading top of the funnel workstream

Prior experience and expertise in B2C eCommerce / eRetail or similar

Proven experience in product positioning, optimizing content on page for performance and driving revenues

Data Centric with expertise on ecommerce metrics

Experience with back-end technology and ability to facilitate communication between business and technology teams

Strong communication skills and proven ability to influence both at a strategic leadership level and cross functionally

Expert at working in the agile environment ( e.g. user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints, personas)

Strategic mindset and bias for action with strong ability for strategic planning, defining OKRs and driving business outcomes

Ability to lead and influence a team while fostering relationships across multiple enterprise-wide teams

This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on Target's needs.

A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

A Hybrid / Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.

Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
