Mechanical Engineer
We are seeking a Mechanical engineer with 5+ years experience working on various commercial (hirise, institutional, and industrial) related projects.
The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in HVAC and plumbing design, with a strong understanding of commercial and institutional building mechanical systems.
A solid grasp of national mechanical codes, standards, and regulations is essential. Proficiency in Revit is required, and candidates should either hold or be in the process of obtaining PE registration.
Responsibilities :
- Receive project assignments and design requirements from Principals and Associates.
- Perform detailed design work including system design, equipment selection, mechanical room layout, and client coordination.
- Interface directly with clients and end-users to understand and document project expectations.
- Lead projects through the design and construction phases.
- designs 3D Revit / CAD drawings, specifications, calculations, and equipment selection, and manages construction administration as needed.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineering Designation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for design and drafting.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.).
