About the Position :

As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant State Traveler, embark on a mission where your workplace spans across the states.

You are not just traveling; you are bringing light and health to various communities, from urban to rural. In visits lasting up to an hour, you will dive deep into the lives of members, reviewing health statuses, medical histories, and social environments to unveil insights rarely captured in routine checks.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do :

  • Transform lives by performing detailed Adult / Geriatric Assessments, diagnosing, treating, and educating patients, coordinating care plans, and ensuring meticulous follow-up.
  • Engage in meaningful collaboration with medical professionals and families, enriching patient lives.
  • Connect and grow within our nationwide network of top-tier advanced practice providers.
  • Flex your skills across diverse settings, from home visits to digital consultations.

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Full Time State Traveler - Home Risk Assessments

Type :

Full Time Permanent

Location :

Travel to homes, skilled nursing facilities, or assisted living facilities within in the state.

Workload :

  • Monday Friday, Saturdays are optional
  • Full-time work week expected
  • Four weeks on followed by one week off

Salary :

  • $110,000 - $120,000 per year based on geographic location and experience
  • Enticing bonus opportunities

Licensing : Additional state licenses may be required based on business needs (Matrix will assist)

Qualifications

Must Haves :

  • Master’s Degree required OR commensurate experience and satisfactory completion of NP licensure
  • Master’s Degree required OR commensurate experience and satisfactory completion of PA licensure
  • Current RN and NP / PA licensure in state of practice to include prescription authority or the ability to obtain prescriptive authority
  • Board certified by the NCCPA, AANP, ANCC or the AACCN in a Matrix approved specialty
  • Have a current BLS, ACLS or CPR certification
  • Have a Minimum of 3 year experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Have strong computer skills and familiarity with Employee health / medical record software
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with patient, clients and colleagues
  • Be comfortable and flexible with frequent change

Travel Requirements :

Have the ability to travel up to 4 weeks at a time, a valid state driver license and able to drive a car, meet company's automobile liability insurance standards and provide proof of coverage.
