About The Position
A state hospital is seeking an internal medicine physician for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Wilson, North Carolina.
The credentialing timeframe for this position is estimated to be between 2 to 4 weeks. The schedule consists of Monday through Friday, from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, and the role involves rotating call responsibilities.
Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS), a DEA license, and a North Carolina state license, along with a mandatory COVID-19 or flu vaccination.
The support staff at the facility includes neuro specialists, medical assistants, registered nurses, and behavioral health professionals.
The facility operates with a paper-based electronic medical record (EMR) system.
