Kelly* has an excellent opportunity for a *Senior Financial Analyst Assistant Controller* with an industry leading Manufacturer in *Amherst, NY*.
This is a *Direct Hire* hybrid position with a starting salary of *$75,000 - $90,000* based on experience, a lucrative annual bonus structure, and a comprehensive benefits package.
In this role you will play a critical role in guiding company financial performance, long-term growth, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or Assistant Controller in manufacturing. This role offers excellent career advancement potential as part of an international company with locations all over the world! *Responsibilities include but not limited to : *
- Manage review and reconciliation of inventory cycle, write-offs, and general ledger expenses
- Partner with other departments and division management on accounting issues and information
- Ensure integrity of both financial and logistics data via accurate reporting and analysis
- Accurate and timely preparation and submission of data in company accounting system
- Prepare costing estimates and manage costing in SAP
- Month end journal entries and general reporting as requested by the BU Controller
- Analysis of claims of non-delivery, late delivery, unpaid invoices, and other issues
- Review and update policies and procedures for plant and office to ensure continued compliance with internal audit guidelines
- Other duties including monthly tax compliance, operational analysis, and leadership support*Skills and Qualifications : *
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance required, Master’s Degree preferred
- 3-5 + years of Accounting / Finance experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred
- Excellent knowledge of ERP software
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of GAAP and financial accounting regulations*Benefits : *
