We are seeking a proven Senior Network Engineer to join a leading enterprise-scale IT team. This role focuses on the design, implementation, and support of cloud and hybrid networking solutions across large-scale environments. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with deep expertise in routing / switching and Cisco data center technologies, as well as experience with cloud networking in Azure and AWS.

This position is engineering-focused (not purely support) and will play a key role in enterprise projects while also serving as a Tier 3 escalation point.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and support enterprise network infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments (Azure, AWS, Cisco ACI).

• Manage advanced connectivity solutions including Azure ExpressRoute, AWS Direct Connect, and BGP routing.
• Support hybrid environments integrating Cisco Nexus, Cisco ACI, Palo Alto firewalls (hardware & VM), and VPNs.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex network issues and participate in on-call rotation.
• Troubleshoot performance, security, and connectivity challenges across enterprise networks.
• Perform capacity planning, risk assessments, and disaster recovery planning.
• Evaluate new technologies, recommend improvements, and contribute to network strategy.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network architecture, standards, and configurations.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects.
