Job Summary :
We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As an RN in the Medical ICU, you will provide high-quality care, demonstrate clinical expertise, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure positive patient outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and coordination of care, while following established policies and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Qualifications :
- Education : Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program (required); BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program (preferred)
- Licensure / Certification : Current RN licensure in Virginia or multi-state compact RN license with eligibility to practice in VA;
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification
Experience :
- Minimum 1 year of hospital experience, preferably in Med Surg
- Candidates with at least 6 months RN experience may also apply for the ICU training program starting on 9 / 18, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a 3-year commitment

- Nurse-to-patient ratios based on acuity
- Patient turnover ranges from 5 to 12 days
- Specialized unit for ventilated tracheostomy patients and neurologic problems

Salary Range :
- $32.11 per hour for 0 years of experience
- $39.76 per hour for 10 years of experience
- $45.87 per hour for 20 years of experience
