Sheet Metal Supervisor

Job Summary : We areseeking a skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Supervisor to leadour manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strongbackground in sheet metal fabrication bilingual proficiency inEnglish and Spanish and a passion for safety quality and continuousimprovement.

As a Supervisor you will play a critical role inensuring efficient production processes maintaining safetystandards and fostering a positive teamculture.

Responsibilities :

Leada team of sheet metal technicians providing guidance coaching andsupport.

Ensure adherence toproduction schedules and qualitystandards.

Collaborate with seniormanagement to achieve departmentalgoals.

Utilize your extensiveknowledge of sheet metal fabricationtechniques.

Oversee the assemblyand production of sheet metalcomponents.

Troubleshoot andresolve any technical issues related to sheet metalprocesses.

Implement LeanManufacturing principles including JIT (JustInTime)methodology.

Drive Kaizen eventsand participate in process improvementinitiatives.

Familiarity with SixSigma methodologies is aplus.

Prioritize safety at alltimes enforcing safety protocols and bestpractices.

Conduct safety auditsand address any safety concernspromptly.

Train and mentor staffensuring they have the necessary skills for theirroles.

Collaborate with HR andsenior management to develop trainingprograms.

Assess employee skillsand identify areas forimprovement.

Foster apeoplecentric and teamcentricculture.

Lead by example promotingcollaboration respect and opencommunication.

Build strongrelationships with teammembers.

Proficiency in MicrosoftExcel for data analysis andreporting.

Requirements

Qualifications :

Bilingualproficiency in English andSpanish.

Minimum 5 years ofexperience in a supervisory role within sheet metalmanufacturing.

Strong knowledge ofLean Manufacturing principles andKaizen.

Safetyconscious withexcellent leadership and communicationskills.

Ability to workcollaboratively with HR and seniormanagement.
