This role is more than just coding. As a Sof tware Engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and te chn iques and identify needed system improvements.

You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and te chn ologies.

You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have :

• 14+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing sof tware programming applications using agile methods
• 5+ years of experience developing hyperthreading or multithreading Java
• Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, sof tware engineering, product management, and sof tware products
• Experience designing and implementing test harnesses for both live and regression testing
• Experience with testing te chn iques and JUnit
• Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
• TS / SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience in sof tware engineering in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have :

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
• Experience with .NET, JavaScript, React, NodeJS, PHP, or Drupal
• Knowledge of wireless and telephony protocols
• Knowledge of Digital Multiplexers, Analog and Digital Signals, Voice / Vocoders, TDMs, Spread Spectrum, SONET / SDH / OTN, ETHERNET, PCM, VSAT, OSI Model, and Computer to Computer ( C2C ) structure, protocols, and data such as MPLS, Psuedowire, TDMop, ATM, Frame Relay, Cisco, Nortel, X.

• Possession of strong hands-on engineering skills
• Master’s degree

Clearance :

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ;

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
