Your expertise lies in understanding the intricate interactions between biological, geological, and chemical processes that impact water quality.

You’ll assist in optimizing treatment performance, assessing water bodies, and analyzing data.

Key Responsibilities :

Biogeochemical Investigations Research :

Investigate chemical and natural processes affecting water quality treatment, such as nutrient uptake by aquatic vegetation, sediment-water interactions, and microbial transformations, to maximize cost-effective nutrient removal from surface waters.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to advance scientific understanding of biogeochemical processes.

Sample Collection and Analysis :

Investigate biogeochemical cycles, including nutrient cycling, carbon dynamics, and trace element behavior, as they affect nutrient removal.

Collect water samples from various sources (rivers, lakes, groundwater) to assess their quality as needed.

Data Management and Reporting :

Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommendations. Maintain accurate records of sampling locations, methodologies, and results.

Communicate research outcomes to stakeholders, policymakers, and the public.
