The Position :

We are currently seeking a VP, Corporate and Network Operations FP&A to join our roster and play a pivotal role on the Finance team in supporting the organization.

Reporting to the SVP, Financial Planning and Analysis this position will lead the financial planning process, drive strategic modeling decisions in partnership with the CFO / COO and SVP, FP&A and serve as the primary contact providing, financial guidance to network operators while shaping strategy and decision making to drive bottom line growth.

• Lead Diamond Sports Group planning process, including annual operating plan, monthly forecasts and long-range strategic plan.
• Drive strategic modeling decisions in partnership with CFO / COO and SVP FP&A to develop fiscal targets across the organization to drive alignment and execute against overarching business goals.
• Lead discussions and provide insight to senior management, Board of Directors and other key stakeholders through robust reporting.
• Function as primary point of contact for network operators (Sales, Marketing, Production) to provide financial guidance that shapes strategy and decision making to drive bottom-line growth and reach financial and non-financial targets.
• Implement and lead financial systems and process optimization, capturing efficiencies by simplifying data structure, streamlining workflows and reporting.
• Drive financial rigor and standards for investment business cases, content green-lights, and maintain measurement of key performance indicators.
• Evaluate long-term portfolio scenarios, including team / league sports rights, in relation to DSG’s business goals.
• Ad-hoc analysis to support total company decision making as needed, including Mergers & Acquisitions, new business initiatives and external market competitive reviews.
• Manage the development of a high performing, operationally focused finance team comprising of Corporate FP&A, Ad Sales Pricing & Planning and Sales Operations

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Finance and / or Accounting.
• Strategic mindset, cross-functional problem solving, and compelling storyteller.
• Significant experience with strategic planning, financial modeling concepts and design.
• Proven track record of developing people and managing high performing teams.

The base salary compensation range for this role is $225,000 - $275,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
