Are you seeking a place where "Doing the most good" is a mission? The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center has a Property & Maintenance Coordinator position available for the ideal candidate.
This candidate must have a strong understanding of coordinating the day-to-day operations of property maintenance. This would include supervising maintenance employees and vendors, obtaining and processing proposals for necessary repairs and maintenance, confirming work invoices for payment, conducting property site inspections, and managing leases.
Essential Functions :
- Supervise / train maintenance employees.
- Solicit, supervise, and review work of third-party contractors / vendors.
- Solicit bids and submit requisitions.
- Maintain databases and files pertaining to property, maintenance & leases.
- Develops and implements preventative maintenance processes for owned & leased properties.
- Performs site inspections to develop recommendations for improvements or replacements.
- Monitors all properties for OSHA and TSA property compliance guidelines.
- Reviews & responds to risk management findings. Creates work orders.
- Prepares and submits purchase order requests using the proper systems.
- Submits property related insurance claims.
- Researches and recommends cost saving efficiency opportunities.
- Regularly attends and / or participates in training opportunities.
- Communication with ARC Command regarding projects & payments.
- Implements Product Control Procedures preventing shrinkage through theft or spoilage.
- Control property, utility, and product supply waste.
- May perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Participates in the budgeting process.
- Supports the mission of The Salvation Army.
