Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Spring 2025 Semester (01 / 06 / 2025 - 04 / 27 / 2025)

Course : Instrumental Analysis Lab

This laboratory section reinforces and expands learning of principles introduced in the lecture course. This course allows students to apply quantitative, qualitative, and instrumental analysis of various sample types.

Focus is on the validity of results. Analytical methods for the qualitative and quantitative analyses of sample by gas chromatography, mass spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, capillary and gel are also covered.

What You Will Do :

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring :

  • Preferred : MS / doctorate in Chemistry or Forensic Science
  • Minimum : Master’s in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Chemistry or Forensic Science
