Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Director of Product Management with a strong business acumen, and technical expertise to lead our product development initiatives.
This role is crucial for shaping and executing our product strategy, ensuring alignment with our customers' needs, and driving innovation within our enterprise solutions.
As a key player in our leadership team, you will have C-level visibility and the opportunity to make a significant impact on Pensa's success.
Responsibilities
- Deeply understand customer business needs and how Pensa products can create value for various customer personas.
- Collaborate with the Head of Product to develop a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap.
- Evaluate customer use cases, business objectives, resources, and timelines to define trade-offs and prioritize products, tasks, and features effectively.
- Work closely with engineering teams and designers to generate detailed requirements for both internal and external features and products.
- Drive improvements in the structure and discipline of Pensa's product lifecycle and planning.
- Manage and communicate roadmap project status across stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor a small team of product managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully defining, managing and launching complex tech products, in the B2B enterprise space.
- Strong understanding of product development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and UX / UI design principles.
- Ability to create detailed product specifications and effectively communicate requirements to cross-functional teams.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate product vision and strategy to stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-starter with a "get things done" attitude, capable of taking ownership and driving initiatives independently.
- End-to-End Product Ownership : Comfortable owning the entire product or feature development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to development and deployment, ensuring the solution effectively addresses end user needs.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in leveraging data and metrics to drive decision-making.
- Experience with Retail or CPGs (Consumer Packaged Goods) : Prior experience in the retail or CPG industry is a plus, with a solid understanding of industry trends and challenges.
