Structural Engineer Entry Level
Indianapolis or Chicago
Crawford, Murphy & Tilly (CMT) , a planning, engineering, and consulting firm is seeking to add a talented Entry Level Structural Engineer to our Surface Transportation team.
This role will provide an opportunity to work on conventional and moderate to complex structural projects. This is a new position for an exceptional individual ready to begin the next stage of their professional career within CMT.

Position Requirements :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures from an accredited university
- 0-5 years related structural engineering experience with a strong emphasis in the design of bridges and structures
- Working knowledge of Microstation or AutoCAD
- Strong communication, technical, and computer skills
- Ability to work in a team environment, flexibility to adjust as project workload demands change, and the ability to work independently
- Proficient with various structural design and analysis software
- FE certification or the ability to obtain certification in anticipation of PE certification.
Preferred Requirements :
- FE certification or the ability to obtain certification in anticipation of PE certification.
- Previous internship or co-op experience.
- Coursework :
- Prestressed / Post tensioned Concrete
- Steel Structures II / Reinforced Concrete II
- Excavation and Support Systems
- Foundation Engineering
- Knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications
