Technical Program Manager III

Introduction to the team :

Our Expedia Product & Technology division builds innovative products, services, and tools to deliver high-quality experiences for travelers, partners, and our employees.

The Strategic Program Delivery team sits within the Expedia Technology, Security and Privacy (ETSP) function, driving strategy, objectives, and priorities through business value.

In this role, you will :

  • Lead and drive a portfolio of programs within the IT Infrastructure Engineering organization
  • Lead all aspects of program management (e.g., quarterly and yearly roadmap planning, overarching strategy, setting measurable goals, progress tracking, issue resolution, reporting)
  • Evaluate feature requests, capture business requirements, and translate them into user stories
  • Champion compliance of the Infrastructure teams with Expedia initiatives
  • Apply Agile methodologies as needed to achieve project outcomes
  • Develop project schedules and prioritize tasks to deliver objectives
  • Identify required resources for projects and make recommendations
  • Keep stakeholders informed of progress and changes
  • Proactively manage risk and lead mitigation planning
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency across organizational boundaries
  • Create clear, concise, tailored communication materials

Experience and qualifications :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field; or Equivalent related professional experience
  • 4+ years of Technical Program Management experience
  • Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Tableau, and Excel
  • Strong initiative and ability to drive results
  • Experience working with cross-organizational teams
  • Demonstrated experience in project / program planning and execution
  • Flexibility in working hours to meet with global teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Agile / SCRUM preferred
  • Detail-oriented and pragmatic approach
  • Experience in IT infrastructure is a plus

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $137,500.00 to $192,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $220,000.
