Responsibilities :
- Assist the physical therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Support patients during therapy sessions, providing guidance and motivation as they work to improve their physical function.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the therapy team and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with therapists to create a positive and supportive therapy environment for patients.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of therapeutic exercises and activities.
Qualifications :
- Completion of an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the healthcare setting.
