Security Professional - Industrial Patrol

Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer and play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. In this position, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and respond to any situations that may arise. Your presence and proactive approach will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors alike. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate : $20.25 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeMon 04 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM Sat 04 : 00 AM - 12 : 00 PM Sun 04 : 00 AM - 12 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
  • Report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual situations to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal team members and site staff to support security-related operations at the manufacturing and industrial location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
  • Applicants must be able to lift more than 20 pounds; this is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required for positions that involve driving and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
