About The Position
Job Title : Staff Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Observation Unit Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 3rd Shift - 12 Hour Nights, Float as Needed Guaranteed Hours : 36 Hours per Week Experience : Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice is required.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred. License : Current Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
Certifications : American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
Must-Have : Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment.
Job Description : Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adult patients in an inpatient environment.- Demonstrate competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population.
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health and / or the situation.- Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.
