Job Opportunity in Odessa, TX
A facility in Odessa, Texas is looking to hire a Postpartum nurse.
Requirements :
Minimum 2 years of experience in current field.
Must have STABLE, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Basic Fetal Monitoring certifications.
Travel experience preferred.
At least two years recent experience in field.
Current BLS certification.
Current nursing license per the state of assignment.

Shift : 07 : 00 AM-07 : 30 PM
36 hours / week guaranteed, alternating shifts.
Overtime after 40 hours.
Duration : 8 weeks
Guaranteed Hours : 36.00
Unit Details :
Level 2 Teaching Facility.
29 Beds for postpartum and 14 beds for L&D.
Charting System : Cerner.
RN : PT Ratio 1 : 6.
Unit practices Couplet Care, care of infants is required including administration of antibiotics to well newborns.
Gyn surgeries and Antepartum patients are also placed on unit.
Basic knowledge of care of pregnant, and post-surgical care is preferred.
