- Duties / Responsibilities :
- Perform on-site and virtual clinical counseling services to clients in accordance with company policies.
- Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival at work is required.
- Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed.
- Be an intern in a graduate counseling program.
- Respond to patients’ requests for service or calls within 48 hours (one business day) whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc.
or through the website.
- Communicate with a patient’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) and coordinate care as necessary.
- Timely complete written records for each client including, but not limited to : intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by Therapeia or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the client.
Keep patient files accurate and up to date.
- Abide by all insurance contracts expectations including, but not limited to : documentation guidelines set by insurance companies, completing documentation within 12 hours per insurance contracts, coordinating care with primary care physician quarterly, and complying with insurance audits.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings and training as directed by Therapeia
- Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of Therapeia.

- Marketing yourself to ideal clients who are within your scope of practice.
- Work with our marketing and advertising team to help build and maintain your caseload with good fit clients.
- For limited license clinicians : Attend individual and group supervision for licensure and engage positively and constructively with peers and supervisors.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Qualifications and Skills :
- Support Therapeia’s mission, vision, and values.
- Must be punctual in reporting to work.
- Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling
- Active, unrestricted license (LPC) in the State of Michigan (must be licensed). LLC's and Interns will be considered.
- Available to hold at least 15 patient sessions per week on average based on your contract, provided such sessions are available.
Be able to work at least 4 hours per week after 4 pm.
- Be organized and detail oriented.
- Be able to work independently on tasks assigned.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in a private practice setting is highly preferred.
- At least one year’s experience in a clinical setting (If LPC / LLC).
- Have at least one niche market for counseling services (i.e., trauma, attachment wounds, domestic violence, abuse, codependency, perfectionism, anxiety, depression, grief, anger management, etc.).

Benefits
- Pay Structure :
- Interns : $10.33 hourly.
- 1099 : Commission model based on licensure level, experience, and caseload size (50-70%).
- W2 : Hourly positions with pay based on license, expertise, and caseload size (Range is $50-$68 per hour). Part-time W2 positions are eligible for benefits at only 20 hours per week. Full time available.
