LOCATION : 100% Remote

DURATION : 12 month contract

Our client is a Fortune 500 multi-national technology company headquartered in Menlo Park, CA.

Research Program Managers build and scale global research programs to strengthen the impact of our research teams. We drive efficiency, cultivate relationships, increase knowledge sharing, and build capacity within our organization to enable Researchers to do their most impactful work.

Role Info :

In this role, you will support our client's Marketing Insights research operations by managing and strengthening data governance programs, as well as create, manage, and scale processes to support the research team.

You'll utilize a full range of organizational and interpersonal skills to help our team operate at their highest and most effective level.

Responsibilities :

Manage an established third-party engagement program that includes new vendor onboarding, Third-Party Assessments (TPAs) and Data Offboarding.

Provide operational support to new and existing third-party research vendors while ensuring they are compliant and current with risk assessment(s) in internal systems.

Serve as a liaison between cross-functional research and compliance teams to develop and scale new processes or best practices when relevant while collaborating on tasks or work streams specific to third-party data governance.

Manage initiatives that improve team efficiency and impact, establishing operational systems and outcomes.

Support strategic planning and change-management initiatives to adhere to the evolving research and compliance policy landscape.

Proactively identify and partner with stakeholders on internal processes, templates, and guidelines to improve team optimization and documentation.

Partner with team leadership on establishing effective team communication, information distribution, and cross-team collaboration.

Proactively manage expectations : define clear program roadmaps, provide frequent program updates, identify and communicate risks and adjustments, and ensure commitments are delivered.

Provide flexible approaches that meet team needs, including the ability to move fast and make progress or navigate blocks quickly.

Facilitate relationships between teams, move initiatives forward, find resources, escalate and raise concerns to appropriate owners early and resolve open issues that prevent progress

Requirements :

Bachelor's or Masters degree in Research, Business, Data Management or related field At least 5 years of experience in program management

Entrepreneurial self-starter comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

You thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment, and are independently capable of seeking information, corralling resources, and delivering results without waiting for direction.

Strong knowledge of data governance principles, best practices, and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Experience with third-party assessment programs and vendor management.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Preferred Skills :

Experience working with research and / or marketing teams.

Experience working closely and influencing cross-functional partner teams (e.g., product, engineering, marketing, research, operations).

Experience with third-party assessment programs and vendor management.

Strong knowledge of data governance principles, best practices, and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Experience working cross functionally in large organizations.

Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira).

Experience working with data visualization tools including Tableau.

Must haves
