Position : Regional Sales Manager

Location : Chicago, IL

Reports To : Director of Sales-North America

Job Overview : We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Regional Sales Manager to join our Sales Team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, strong relational and organizational skills, and regional sales management experience.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing sales programs that maximize sales with assigned, targeted and development accounts.

In addition to overseeing and conducting market research to develop and implement sales initiatives and implementing sales strategies and product knowledge within the region.

Responsibilities :

Develop sales strategies and plans to achieve sales and profit goals by leading, developing, and motivating all sales channels, OEMs, electrical distributors, resellers, service providers, end users within assigned Region.

Provide ongoing training and development of sales associates and customers to ensure that sales and profits are effectively managed and maintained.

Meet targeted sales quotas and productivity standards.

Provide consistent and motivated leadership and direction to all staff and team members.

Provide exceptional customer service to all customers daily.

Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to drive sales and profit.

Work collaboratively with Marketing Team to develop marketing content and strategies that are applicable to all customers and provide customer feedback for market research.

Work collaboratively with operations on enhanced or new product development.

Prudent management of T&E expenditures and timely submission of expense reports.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred. Business or a related field would be considered.

Proven experience (3-5 years) in sales, preferably in the manufacturing or technology industry.

Excellent sales and negotiation skills.

Strong written and communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging content. Technical writing a plus.

Effective decision making and problem solving.

Ability to interact effectively and collaboratively with customers and all employees at all levels of the organization.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make market sales driven decisions.

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Enthusiastic team player with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing marketing trends.

Knowledge of electrical safety products and the electrical safety industry is a plus.

Ability to consult with others, internal and external customers.

Creativity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Strong work ethic and ability to work with little supervision.

Ability to be flexible, self-driven in a fast-paced environment.

Microsoft Office 360 is a must.

Experience with a CRM tool, Salesforce preferably.
