The Position

  • The Executive Administrator will be responsible for quality improvement efforts with the goal of achieving world-class clinical and patient-centered outcomes that set the standard in healthcare delivery and innovation.
  • Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the Director provides oversight for 40+ FTE, including multiple Directors and Managers.
  • This leader will diligently strive to secure and sustain Keck's position in the Top 10 rankings of U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals while actively preserving notable achievements.

Their primary focus is on establishing organizational prominence in academia through the consistent publication of high-quality work and the cultivation of impactful collaborations.

Notably, the leader will emphasize strategic partnerships, particularly with the Quality Institute, aiming to solidify Keck as a recognized authority and valuable resource within the academic community.

  • This leader will diligently uphold Joint Commission standards to ensure the organization is fully compliant and prepared for Joint Commission surveys.
  • Ideal candidates will have previous experience leading quality improvement programs / initiatives and be a subject matter expert in the field of Risk Management.

Previous experience working in an academic medical center is highly preferred. Candidates must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • BSN preferred and Master’s required.
  • Active CA RN license required.
  • CPHQ certification required.
  • Must possess 5 to 10 years' experience in hospital management with recent performance improvement experience, and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a progressive leadership role within an acute care environment.
