- Plan, coordinate, and implement occupational therapy treatment plans for clients, determining appropriate therapy techniques and sequences.
- Provide consultation with clients, other healthcare professionals, and interested outside parties regarding client progress and treatment recommendations.
- Participate in planning, organizing, and controlling occupational therapy services, policies, and procedures; serve as an interdisciplinary team member.
- Assess and locate suitable adaptive equipment for clients.- Document evaluations, observations, and assessments of client performance;
record treatment plans and revisions; maintain records.- Keep abreast of current knowledge relevant to occupational therapy through reading and attending in-service and mandated training.- Attend staff meetings.
