We are in search of a meticulous Payroll Clerk to join our team in Chandler, Arizona. This role will require you to perform a variety of payroll tasks, including data entry and utilization of payroll software.

You will be a key component of our operations, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll.

Responsibilities :

  • Accurately input data into payroll systems
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to track and manage payroll information
  • Use payroll software to calculate payments, deductions, and benefits
  • Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
  • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
  • Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits
  • Process accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports as necessary.
  • Proficiency in data entry is required
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are necessary
  • Previous experience in payroll is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with payroll software is advantageous
  • High attention to detail and accuracy is essential
  • Good organizational skills are required for managing multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are needed
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with various departments
  • Capacity to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in accounting or related field is a plus
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to payroll is beneficial.
