Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is seeking a part time nurse for the Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit. This is a 14-bed acute voluntary Psychiatric Unit specializing in crisis intervention for adult patients.
Our average length of stay is 3-5 days.
8 FTE (64 hours biweekly pay period)

Responsibilities
- Provides quality patient care to patients on voluntary inpatient unit.
- Administers medications, provides wound care, monitors patients for medication efficacy and symptom improvement.
- Works with treatment team to create a therapeutic milieu.
- Assists with discharge and admission processes.
- Works as Charge RN on some shifts.
- Screens patients for admission on some shifts.
Qualifications :
- Associate's in nursing, BSN preferred.
- Current WA state RN license required.
- Healthcare provider CPR Certification required.
- One year of psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
- Excellent leadership, customer service and communication skills / experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Triage experience preferred.
