Overview

Lead Graphic Production Artist to support the AVP, Head of Design and a world-class Marketing & Growth Organization. They will be a seasoned production expert responsible for finalizing artwork during the technical production phase, including file preparation, asset testing, finalizing design assets for mass usage and distribution, and producing guidelines to fit our digital processes. The role requires high organization, ability to manage large file quantities with accuracy, creativity, and attention to detail. Collaboration occurs within the design team and with other departments (Strategy, Insights, Project Management, Brand Management, Business Units, and Marketing).

A portfolio reflecting award-winning production work for large consumer-facing brands is required.

Location and travel

This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is located in Dallas, TX.

Title

Lead Graphic Production Designer, Brand Design

Core Responsibilities

  • Own the finalization of studio artwork during the technical production phase of the design process.
  • Execute file preparation, asset testing, finalizing design assets for mass usage / distribution, and the production of guidelines that meet (and improve) established processes.
  • Codify best practices for physical and digital asset creation and production.
  • Manage a detailed project matrix of all production assets, including sizing, substrates, color profiles, etc.
  • Execute asset scalability testing across the spectrum of digital and physical tactics.
  • Prepare files for print and digital production and Brand Center dev team (test / set color profiles, asset resolution, naming, organization export settings, external hard drive formatting, etc.).
  • Design and modify Power Point presentations.
  • Provide light image retouching and manipulation.
  • Teach the production process including pre, production, and post.

Skills

  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Expert technical knowledge of design techniques, production processes, and technologies, including a variety of materials, substrates, and formats of differing scales.
  • Expert-level proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work in both a MAC and PC environment.
  • Effective visual, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects with varying degrees of ambiguity.
  • Solid communicator who is comfortable asking questions and is able to clearly communicate timing and deliverables.
  • Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills while leading and is accountable for a variety of assigned projects and multiple teams while understanding deadlines and budgets and maintaining quality of output.
  • Preferred : Animation, motion, and video editing capabilities.
  • Bonus : Knowledge of Figma.
  • Education / Experience

  • BFA / BS (or equivalent experience) in design.
  • 5-7 years of experience working in a similar role.
  • Expert knowledge of the production processes for digital and print media that ensures flawless transfer of design content to production execution.

  • Compensation and Benefits

    Our Lead Graphic Production Designer, Brand Design earns between $105,600 - $158,400 USD annually, plus other rewards such as health insurance, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off. Starting salary is influenced by geography, experience, expertise, and education / training.
