We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Apartment Maintenance Technician of a 458-unit residential apartment community located in Chester, VA (Rivermont Crossing).
Responsibilities :
- Respond to tenant requests for repairs and maintenance in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct regular inspections of apartments and common areas to identify and address maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- Assist with apartment turnovers, including cleaning, painting, and other tasks as needed
- Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Cover on-call emergencies
Requirements : .
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of maintenance, plumbing, minor electrical, drywall repair, painting, HVAC, and appliance repair
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have some tools as well as reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds
- A minimum of two (2) years related experience and / or training in apartment maintenance is preferred
- Ability to multitask and maintain a professional appearance
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred
