The Department of Internal Medicine is hiring a full time Financial Analyst 1 or Financial Analyst 2. With guidance from supervisors, this individual will monitor, analyze, and report on financial data in the clinical trial unit.
Rank is commensurate with experience.
Essential Functions
- Monitor and interpret financial data in the development of cost analysis and reports.
- Prepare financial, data, and statistical analysis reports for clinical trials
- Track financial performance and identify variances from the budgets.
- Perform budget analysis and assist in the development of budgetary forecasts.
- Communicate financial status and issues to project managers, clinical teams and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and assist in budget-related statistical analysis, estimates and financial reports.
- Assist in the development and input of financial transactions into university systems.
- Reconcile invoices and payments with trial budgets and agreements
- Ensure proper documentation and approval for all financial transactions

Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree must be in accounting or related field.
Required Experience
Related finance or accounting experience.
