Job Description
Experienced Specialist within the Facilities Industrial Repair & Maintenance job family. Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
Complexity & Problem Solving : Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
Collaboration & Interaction : Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments.
Experienced Specialist (Hourly)
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years mechanical maintenance experience including :
- industrial mechanical troubleshooting and repair
- basic welding and cutting procedures
- understanding of hydraulics
- set up and operation of general machine maintenance shop equipment and tools
- correct use of machinist measurement tools
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment mechanically.
- Capable of overcoming obstacles and completing assignments in a timely manner.
- Strong working knowledge of industrial controls and instrumentation preferred.
- PC skills including experience with MS Office Suite preferred.
- Positive attitude, good judgment and excellent time management skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
- Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance;
and regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
- Good close vision and depth perception skills.
- Industrial forklift certification preferred.
