Job Summary :
The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting our financial health and operational efficiency. This position involves working closely with our finance, operations, and leadership teams to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights that guide strategic decisions.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about contributing to a mission-driven organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel financial modeling and data analysis (Including pivot table, advance formula & function, data table, power query)
- Proven experience utilizing Quickbooks, Net Suite, BI software, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to build and interpret financial models for forecasting and budgeting.
- Keen eye for spotting discrepancies in data and ensuring accuracy in financial reports and analysis.
- Ability to present financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
- Flexibility to adapt to new priorities, challenges, or changes in financial strategies.
- Strong Analytical skills and attention to detail

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education and Experience :
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA or CFA is a plus.
- 3+ years of proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or related fields.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and present regular financial reports and performance analyses, including monthly financial statements and variance analyses.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts; track actual performance against budgets, identifying key variances and insights.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support decision-making across the organization.
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, business valuations, and scenario analysis to guide strategic planning.
- Conduct variance analysis to understand differences between planned and actual financial results; collaborate with relevant departments to investigate and address variances.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to assess financial performance, track operational efficiency, and drive strategic decision-making across the organization.
- Combine financial data from source systems to analyze within a common reporting platform
- Oversee billing and payments for clinical research line of business; work with research team to ensure all revenue is accounted for and paid
- Support various ad-hoc projects such as mergers & acquisitions analysis, system implementation, and process improvements.
