As our Canton, OH office grows, we are seeking to add a Transportation Engineer with experience and enthusiasm for Project Management to join the team.
A variety of projects, business development, and leadership opportunities are just a few of the things you can expect in this expanding role.
- Essential duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
- Community outreach and client engagement to further business relationships and project opportunity
- Supervise and mentor members of the the project team on the preparation of construction plans, mathematical calculations for design geometries, grade lines, alignments, and drainage.
Assist in the preparation of project cost estimates for all ancillary items
- Collaborate with staff on bid requirements, development of project scopes, and proposals for new and existing clients
- Demonstrate the ability to lead a project from inception to completion by managing projects and mentoring contributing junior level staff
- Assure the adherence of project budget, scope, and timeline to the best of your ability
- Successful candidates will bring ;
- BS degree from an ABET accredited program in the field of Civil Engineering
- A minimum of 8 years' applicable experience
- PE License in the state of Ohio is required
- Demonstrated proficiency using MicroStation with GEOPAK design software
- OpenRoads Designer and Civil 3D experienced is desired
- Knowledge and previous experience with ODOT's PDP Process is highly desired, but not required
- Essential soft skills include;
- Ability to lead and mentor a team
- Capability of working independently or collaboratively
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Exceptional time management and prioritization skills
