Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Medical-Surgical / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years current experience in Medical-Surgical and Progressive Care Unit required.
Previous travel experience preferred. License : Valid and current nursing license required. Certifications : BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association required.
Must-Have : - Meditech EMR experience preferred. - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. - Required to work every other weekend and holiday rotation.
Job Description : - Provide direct patient care in a 25-bed Medical-Surgical Unit with an average of 4-6 patients per assignment.
- Utilize Sigma Smart IV Pumps for patient care. - Follow dress code : scrubs (top and bottom) of any color; no denim, T-shirts, perfume, fragrances, or body jewelry.
- Ensure the inclusion of relevant experience in both Medical-Surgical and PCU on work history. - Necessary availability for major holidays, including Thanksgiving and Christmas, for scheduling as needed.
- Complete a skills checklist pertinent to your specialty, current to within one year. - Provide one supervisory signed reference from the past two years of employment.
- Non-billable orientation, no charge or call-back duties are applicable. Please ensure to meet all profile requirements, including including the necessary licenses and certifications.
