Director, Provider Payment Analytics and Processing

What you’ll do :

As a Director, Provider Payment Analytics and Processing , you will oversee the provider compensation centralized team and ensure timely and accurate physician payments throughout the organization.

You will be responsible for the accurate execution of provider compensation from the initial documentation through to the completion of payments.

You will support special projects related to provider compensation and initiatives in this area, leveraging strong contract interpretation and abstraction skills as well as strong mathematical skills to impact the accuracy of provider compensation.

Additionally, you will oversee a highly skilled team of provider compensation managers.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the interpretation of provider contract provisions and ensure they are entered into the physician compensation tool.
  • Implement and maintain all compensation provisions and other relevant contract provisions in the physician compensation tool.
  • Coordinate with key business stakeholders to ensure all provider payments are made timely and accurately.
  • Communicate provider compensation matters with relevant leadership and market team members.
  • Ensure adequate quality reviews on all provider compensation calculations in a timely manner.
  • Conduct random quality reviews for provider compensation on a consistent and intermittent basis.
  • Oversee provider compensation re-reviews and ensure escalation criteria is followed as scheduled.
  • Manage and oversee the provider compensation centralized team.
  • Assist in educating others on provider compensation as needed and requested.
  • Ensure adequate training of all physician compensation managers and other relevant Lifepoint team members.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are imperative.

What you’ll need : EDUCATION :

EDUCATION :

Graduate of a paralegal program, relevant bachelor’s degree, and / or commensurate experience required.

EXPERIENCE : Minimum five (5) years experience in physician contracting, physician compensation management, and / or physician compensation calculation.
