About The Position
Job Title : Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT / MLS) Job Specialty : Laboratory Job Duration : 13 weeks or longer depending on training Shift : Monday through Friday from 06 : 00-18 : 30 and Saturday from 06 : 30-15 : 00;
every third weekend; holiday rotation - must be available to work one of the three holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's, and be available for the Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday around the holidays of Christmas and New Year's.
Guaranteed Hours : 36 to 40 hours per week Experience : Not specified License : MLT / MLS certification required Certifications : MLT / MLS certification required Must-Have : Microbiology experience preferred Job Description : Perform laboratory tests and procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare samples for analysis and ensure proper handling.- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Monitor and maintain quality assurance standards in the lab.- Collaborate effectively with medical personnel to provide accurate test results.
- Participate in the rotation schedule and holiday shifts as required.- Uphold the confidentiality and integrity of patient data and lab results.
