Job Overview

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our primary care practice at M Health Fairview Clinics - Apple Valley . Join our busy practice which has been in the community for over 20 years.

Practice Details :

11 provider primary care practice with more than 5 specialists onsite.

Patient encounters average 18-22 patients per day.

34 patient contact hours per week. Call Frequency : 1 : 10 low intensity - phone consultation only with first tier nurse triage

Openings : 1.0 FTE (Full Time) - Flexible schedule.

As a Pioneer Accountable Care Organization (ACO), our physicians use a multidisciplinary team approach in managing clinical care.

Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).

Apple Valley () (Population 50K+) is a southern suburb of Minneapolis. The community has highly rated schools, shopping and many parks as few of the amenities available. Centrally located, this community is minutes from the Mpls / St. Paul International Airport and the Mall of America, with easy access to major freeways and within 30 minutes of the downtown areas of Minneapolis and St. Paul.

Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.

BC / BE through NCCPA.

Licensed or ability to obtain a PA license with prescriptive authority through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.

Ability to obtain and / or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.

Meet threshold criteria / qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.

2 years of Physician Assistant experience required.

Compensation Disclaimer

The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills,knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Positions withthe same min / max are flat rate jobs based on 40 hours / week. Compensation plans based on production can allow for higher pay than the range posted.
