Overview :

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
• Adapt and modify instructional materials to meet the varying needs of students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and development.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in a variety of settings, including inclusive classrooms and specialized programs.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress with parents and other stakeholders.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and success.
• Stay current with best practices in special education and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
• Valid Arizona teaching certification in Special Education.
• Proven experience working with students with a range of disabilities.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and support staff.
