The Quincy Kroc Center is seeking a Membership & Events Manager who is passionate about people, mission, and excellence in service. This role provides leadership and oversight of membership services, daily operations, and facility events, ensuring that every guest and member experiences the welcoming and mission-driven environment that defines the Kroc Center.

The Membership & Events Manager will guide a team of frontline staff, drive membership sales and retention strategies, oversee CRM / POS systems, and coordinate facility events that reflect the high standards of the Kroc Center.

Hours : Full-time, 40 hours per week | Monday - Friday 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm, occasional evening and weekend hours as needed
Rate of Pay : The expected salary range for this position is $50,821.51-$63,526.88, with the final salary determined based on education and / or experience exceeding the minimum qualifications.
Travel : This position requires intermittent travel for trainings, workshops, and conferences that support professional growth and alignment with The Salvation Army's mission.
What You'll Do
As the Membership & Events Manager, you will :
- Lead & Develop People : Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate staff while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service excellence.
- Oversee Membership Operations : Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, accurate system use, and effective membership sales, engagement, and retention strategies.
- Drive Sales & Retention : Design and implement membership campaigns that move prospects through the sales funnel, strengthen engagement, and improve retention.
- Partner for Impact : Collaborate with marketing and program teams to align efforts and achieve shared goals.
- Coordinate Events : Lead the facility's rental and events program, balancing internal and external space usage and coordinating resources across multiple departments to ensure successful outcomes.
- Leverage Data : Analyze membership and rental trends, develop strategies for growth, and use data to inform decision-making.
- Model Mission & Culture : Provide a welcoming, solution-oriented environment for members, guests, and community partners, while upholding the values of The Salvation Army.
What Are We Looking For ?
Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, recreation management, or related field (or equivalent experience).4 years of progressive leadership experience in customer service, recreation, hospitality, or membership-based environments. Experience with membership sales, rentals / events management, or CRM systems strongly preferred.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.Demonstrated success in sales campaigns, staff leadership, and service excellence.Experience with CRM / POS systems and reporting tools.Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Valid Driver's License with reliable, insured transportation.Commitment to the mission and values of The Salvation Army.Why Join The Salvation Army?
