Registered Nurse (RN), Inpatient Laboratory Job Type : Part-time 4- 8 hour day shifts per week with rotating weekends (Saturdays only) / holidays, and call Department / Unit SummaryIn this unique role, the nurse provides direct day to day care for patients and families primarily in the outpatient laboratory at the main campus.
Practices to the fullest extent of his / her license in accordance with organizational polices, commonly performing venipunctures, blood collection from ports, nasopharyngeal swabs, and Rh immune globulin injections.
May perform limited inpatient and emergency department collections according to the department needs. In addition, performs training and competency assessment of other department staff.
