A law firm in Arlington, VA, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2+ years of experience in civil and commercial litigation.
The ideal candidate will be admitted to the Virginia Bar, with admission to the D.C. and Maryland Bars considered a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities :
- Conduct legal research and analysis on civil and commercial litigation matters.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Participate in all aspects of discovery, including depositions, document production, and interrogatories.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Assist in trial preparation and strategy.
- Communicate with clients and provide regular updates on case progress.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation matters.
Requirements :
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Virginia Bar; admission to the D.C. and Maryland Bars is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in civil and commercial litigation.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal civil procedure rules.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
