Summary :
This position will work closely with the CFO and take responsibility for performing the day-to-day tasks associated with recording and analyzing various entries and accounts related to the financial statements for multiple restaurant locations.
Responsibilities :
Record daily and weekly revenue from POS systems and various other 3rd-party food ordering and delivery platforms.
Record daily the imported bank and credit card activity.
Manage Accounts Payable : code AP documents, and process weekly payment runs.
Review vendor statements for missing invoices and follow up accordingly.
Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliation.
Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field with 1-2 years' working experience OR 3-6 years' experience in a accounting role.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Discretion and trustworthiness in handling confidential information.
Additional Skills (Preferred) :
Restaurant accounting experience.
Experience with Restaurant 365 or other restaurant specific back office systems.
Experience with intercompany accounting.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Working Conditions :
Typical office-based, working regular business hours.
Fast-paced environment requiring the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
