Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $1,698 per week in Kankakee, IL

They will not call for a 2nd phone interviewDepartment : Med Tele RN- # Beds : 31- Ratios : 1 : 5-6- Required Certifications : BLS- Common diagnosis : CHF, strokes, chest pain, Dm, PN, COPD, detox, underlying cardiac conditions.
Cath lab recoveries.- Experience : Radial band and femoral cath recoveries.- Are RN's required to titrate drips : No- Common titratable & / or set rate drips : Lasix, heparin, bumex, protonix, octreotide.
Are there Tele / Monitor Techs on this unit : RNs read tele. They do have a centralized tele tech that helps monitor.- Charge Nurse / House Supervisor : Team Lead during the day- does not take patients.
Charge on nights / weekends / holidays. Charge takes patients. - Are there Nurse Aides on this unit / Ratios : Yes. 1 : 10-12.
RT / Equipment : Cpap / bipap intermittent only. - Shifts & Scheduling : 12 hours 5-5 TL does schedule. Try to accommodate if it works for staffing.
If starting middle of the schedule, you will be filled in. - Weekend Requirements : Every other.- Holiday Requirements : Evey other.
- Is there Call or a Standby requirement : No- Floating floors / step down to take tele level patients.- Scrub Color : Caribbean colored scrubs.
- Unit / Department Specific Orientation : 1- 12 hour shift.*Radius Rule : Any clinician with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility will be offered a rate of $7.
00 less than the base rate of their position. *Date Entered : 12 / 11 / 2023 Cancellation may cancel 1 shift per 8 week contract without penalty and up to 2 shifts per 13 week contract without penalty.
